Ancelotti: No Abramovich influence over Torres

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has insisted Roman Abramovich is “too intelligent” to try to force him to play Fernando Torres.

Ancelotti claimed yesterday he would have no qualms dropping the misfiring striker for Tuesday night’s Champions League quarter-final second leg against Manchester United if he felt it would give the Blues the best chance of turning the tie around.
