Crouch sorry about red card, says Spurs skipper Dawson

Peter Crouch apologised to his team-mates for his red card that was key to Tottenham’s defeat against Real Madrid last night, Michael Dawson has revealed.

With Spurs already 1-0 down thanks to Emmanuel Adebayor’s opener, the England striker saw red after just 15 minutes for two needless fouls on Marcelo and Sergio Ramos.
