Dundalk back on track

Goals from wingers Ross Gaynor and Daniel Kearns, and a late strike from Jason Byrne, got Dundalk back to winning ways at Oriel Park.

Kearns set up Gaynor to fire home the lead goal three minutes before the break.

Brilliant work by Mark Quigley then set up Kearns to double Dundalk's lead in the final minute of the half.

Midfielder Paul Corry's stunning free-kick got a goal back for College on 69 minutes.

But Byrne restored Dundalk's two goal lead three minutes later when collecting skipper Simon Madden's cross to shoot low under Ger Barron.
