Wolves striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake will replace Kevin Doyle for tomorrow’s Barclays Premier League game at Newcastle after the Republic of Ireland frontman suffered medial knee ligament damage against Macedonia last weekend.

It will be the only change from the side which overcame Aston Villa 1-0 a fortnight ago to extend their unbeaten run to four games.

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has taken the unusual step of naming his starting line-up 24 hours before the St. James’ Park clash, but Michael Mancienne and Stephen Hunt will be vying for a place among the substitutes after recovering from injury.

Provisional squad: Hennessey, Foley, Stearman, Berra, Elokobi, Hammill, Henry, Milijas, Jarvis, O’Hara, Ebanks-Blake, Hahnemann, Ward, Kightly, Craddock, Fletcher, Jones, Hunt, Mancienne, Mouyokolo.
