Van Marwijk hopeful over Van Persie

Holland coach Bert van Marwijk is hopeful that Robin van Persie will be fit for Arsenal duty this weekend after suffering an injury on international duty on Tuesday night.

Van Persie gave Holland the lead in Amsterdam but was injured in a challenge by Hungary defender Vilmos Vanczak. He was forced off by the problem before half-time in a Euro 2012 qualifying match which exploded into life in the second half, as Hungary came back to lead 2-1 before Holland turned it around again to ultimately prevail 5-3.
