Uruguay boss Oscar Tabarez has included Atletico Madrid striker Diego Forlan and skipper Diego Lugano, of Fenerbahce, in his starting line-up for tonight's clash with the Republic of Ireland at the Aviva Stadium.

Meanwhile, James McCarthy has been handed his first senior international start as the hosts welcome the World Cup semi-finalists to Dublin.
