Galway notch first win of season

Having greatly damaged their title hopes last season, Galway once again proved Bohemians' bogey side with a first win of the season at Dalymount Park for Sean Connor's Tribesmen.

Bohemians had the better of the first half with Killian Brennan twice coming close.

But Galway dug in and got the break for the game's only goal on the hour mark.

Bohs were punished for defensive frailty as Joseph Yoffe forced the ball home for his second goal of the season.

Substitute David Lobola might have levelled for Bohs 10 minutes later but wastefully headed wide from a superb cross by Ollie Cahill.
