Iaquinta blow for Juve
Juventus have suffered a blow with the news that striker Vincenzo Iaquinta will be out for the rest of the season.
Iaquinta suffered an injury during a training session on Thursday and tests done today confirmed the Italy international has a muscular lesion in his left thigh.
“Iaquinta will be sidelined for at least three months, hence, his season can be considered over,” read a statement from Juventus.
Iaquinta has scored four goals in 19 Serie A appearances for Juve this campaign.
It is a further setback for Juve coach Luigi Del Neri with his team having already lost Leandro Rinaudo, Mohamed Sissoko and Fabio Quagliarella to season-ending injuries.
Juve lie seventh in the Serie A standings with nine round of games remaining.
