Bohemians but their winter of financial woe behind them to record a morale-boosting opening night win at the Carlisle Grounds.

Bohs started well, but it was Bray who stole the lead on 20 minutes when Jake Kelly blasted home a penalty after Ger O'Brien handled a corner.

But Bohs hit back to level from a spot kick of their own on 31 minutes. Christy Fagan sent keeper Matt Gregg the wrong way after Lee Dixon was taken down by Daire Doyle.

Killian Brennan then put Bohs in front eight minutes later with a brilliant 20-yard free-kick to the top corner.

Anto Flood added Bohs third goal on 65 minutes after a flowing move involving Fagan and Stephen Traynor.

Kelly might have reduced the arrears four minutes later but crashed his spot kick off the bar after O'Brien had tripped substitute John Mulroy.
