Sports management firm Proactive won permission today to appeal over a £4.3m (€5.1m) claim against Manchester United and England striker Wayne Rooney.

Sports management firm Proactive won permission today to appeal over a £4.3m (€5.1m) claim against Manchester United and England striker Wayne Rooney.

Judge Brendan Hegarty QC ruled at Manchester Mercantile Court in July last year that the agreement between Proactive and Rooney for a 20% commission for a number of multi-million pound deals was unenforceable.
