Villa close in on Bradley loan

Aston Villa boss Gerard Houllier today revealed that United States international Michael Bradley is poised to complete a loan deal with Aston Villa, with a view to a permanent move.

Houllier, who ruled out the possibility of a transfer window departure by Ashley Young, said the Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder was undergoing a medical before completing a loan until the end of the season.
