Gunners game too soon for Moses and McCarthy

Victor Moses and James McCarthy are back training for Wigan but are unlikely to return for tomorrow’s trip to Arsenal.

Moses (shoulder) and McCarthy (ankle) have been long-term casualties at the DW Stadium but could now return for next weekend’s FA Cup clash with Bolton.

Franco Di Santo made a substitute appearance against Fulham last weekend after an ankle injury and could play a part at the Emirates. Chris Kirkland was unavailable for the Fulham game after a head injury and it remains to be seen if he will start ahead of Ali Al Habsi, while Tom Cleverley (hamstring) is out.

Provisional squad: Al Habsi, Pollitt, G Caldwell, Gohouri, Stam, Figueroa, Alcaraz, Watson, Diame, McArthur, Thomas, N’Zogbia, McManaman, Rodallega, Lopez, Gomez, S Caldwell, Robinson, Boyce, De Ridder, Golobart, Mustoe, Kirkland, Di Santo.
