Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has had positive discussions with the club’s owners about transfers and is hopeful there can be some business done in the time remaining in the current window.

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has had positive discussions with the club’s owners about transfers and is hopeful there can be some business done in the time remaining in the current window.

However, he stressed the need for “responsible” spending, an ethos which is fully supported by principal owner John Henry and chairman Tom Werner – who have been on Merseyside for the last few days.
