West Brom boss Roberto Di Matteo made three defensive changes from the side beaten in their last Barclays Premier League match at Fulham for the home clash with Blackpool.

Di Matteo axed keeper Scott Carson after his recent poor form and handed a first league start to Boaz Myhill.

In addition, centre-backs Gabriel Tamas and Paul Scharner were available after suspension and replaced Gianni Zuiverloon and James Hurst respectively.

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway kept faith with the side which defeated Liverpool at Bloomfield Road in midweek.
