Los Che agree Mata contract

Spain winger Juan Mata has agreed a contract extension with Valencia.

The 22-year-old former Real Madrid youngster has been regularly linked with a move away from the financially-stricken club since rising to prominence in the 2008-09 season.

However, he has agreed an extension to stay the the Mestalla until June 2014 and will sign the contract on January 24.
