Aston Villa manager Gerard Houllier’s job remains safe despite his side slipping into the Barclays Premier League relegation zone.

Supporters chanted ’you’re getting sacked in the morning’ after Villa were beaten 1-0 at home by Sunderland last night, slipping into the bottom three as a result.
