Blackburn heaped the pressure on former manager Roy Hodgson as they raced into a deserved 2-0 half-time lead at home to Liverpool.

Speculation about the 63-year-old’s future has been rife for weeks and goals from Martin Olsson and Benjani Mwaruwari did little to help.
