Fergie not planning spending spree

Alex Ferguson has dismissed the notion of Manchester United going on a concerted January spending spree.

Ferguson has already completed the capture of Denmark keeper Anders Lindegaard from Aalesund, which could herald the departure of either Tomasz Kuszczak or Ben Amos.
