Rangers duo in line for return
Rangers could welcome back Kyle Lafferty and Maurice Edu for their Clydesdale Bank Premier League game against Motherwell on St Stephen's Day.
Lafferty has been out of action with a broken bone in his hand but has been able to train and, if given the go-ahead by his specialist this week, will be available for the visit to Fir Park.
Edu has been recovering from both tonsilitis and a knee injury and, although having not trained as much as Lafferty, could also be in contention.
Nikica Jelavic is unlikely to return until mid-January, while Kirk Broadfoot still faces several weeks on the sidelines with a foot problem.
Provisional squad: McGregor, Whittaker, Papac, Foster, Wylde, Weir, Bougherra, Davis, McCulloch, Weiss, Beattie, Naismith, Miller, Loy, Fleck, Hutton, Cole, Alexander, Edu, Lafferty.
