Youngster Gardner pens new Villa deal

Aston Villa midfielder Gary Gardner – the younger brother of Birmingham player Craig Gardner – has signed a new three-and-a-half year contract.

Gardner jnr, who is currently recovering from a cruciate ligament injury, has committed himself to Villa until the summer of 2014.
