Star men Rafael van der Vaart and Gareth Bale are both doubts for Tottenham’s Champions League game with Werder Bremen tomorrow night.

Van der Vaart missed training today and went for a scan on an ankle knock, while Bale picked up a shoulder injury in Saturday’s north London derby win at Arsenal.
