Johan Djourou replaced defender Laurent Koscielny, who lost his appeal against the red card received during Sunday’s shock home defeat by Newcastle.

In addition, Tomas Rosicky and Andrey Arshavin replaced Theo Walcott and Samir Nasri respectively.

Wolves manager Mick McCarthy made just the one change from the side which went down to a last-minute goal at Manchester United on Saturday as on-loan Chelsea midfielder Michael Mancienne came in for Stephen Hunt.
