Petrov poised for Bolton return

Martin Petrov could be in line for a recall to Bolton’s first XI for the trip to Everton tomorrow night in the Barclays Premier League.

Petrov, fit again after a slight hamstring problem, came off the bench to score the final goal in Wanderers’ 4-2 win over Tottenham on Saturday and may be rewarded with a starting berth at Goodison Park in place of Matt Taylor.

Manager Owen Coyle expects to have the same squad available as for the Spurs game, with Joey O’Brien, Ricardo Gardner, Jlloyd Samuel and Sean Davis all still sidelined.

Team (from): Jaaskelainen, Bogdan, Cahill, Steinsson, Knight, Robinson, Lee, Holden, Muamba, Petrov, Cohen, K Davies, Elmander, M Davies, Blake, Taylor, Klasnic, Ricketts, Alonso, Moreno.
