Sampdoria wait on Cassano review

Sampdoria will not issue any further statements on the status of dropped striker Antonio Cassano until a league arbitration panel has reviewed the case.

The Genoa club reported the Italian striker to the league following heated arguments between Cassano and club president Riccardo Garrone that have led to the player being left out of the squad.
