Lampard not ready for return

Chelsea will once again be without Frank Lampard for this weekend’s Barclays Premier League match at Blackburn.

It had been hoped that Lampard would return to training this week after missing the last 10 games but the England midfielder will instead step up his rehabilitation from a hernia injury next week with a view to him playing some part in next weekend’s match at Liverpool.
