O’Connor starts for Birmingham

Birmingham manager Alex McLeish has today handed a first start of the season to striker Garry O’Connor for the home Premier League clash with Blackpool.

O’Connor was dogged by hip problems last season but has regained match fitness during a loan spell with Barnsley.
