Danny North hit a brace of first half goals to keep St. Patrick's hopes of Europe alive.

North latched onto a Ryan Guy flick from keeper Gary Rogers' long clearance to fire past Matt Gregg to put Saints in front on 26 minutes.

Seven minutes later North struck again when latching onto Vinny Faherty's pass to rifle to the net from close range.

Pete Mahon's side must now win at Sligo Rovers next week and hope that other results go they way if their are to get a Europa League spot.
