UCD entertain Paul Cook’s Sligo Rovers in tonight’s Airtricity League Premier Division clash at the UCD Bowl (kick-off 7.45pm).

As the Students have secured their Premier Division status, manager Martin Russell is set to give a run out to some of his squad that haven’t played too much in recent weeks.

Sean Harding, who has missed most of the season through injury, is likely to return to first team duty.

Russell said: “Don’t get me wrong, we’re committed to producing our optimum performance, particularly against Sligo who are a great footballing team who will not be afraid to allow us to play too.

“Given the pedigree of both sides it should be a great spectacle but it’s also a game we will be setting out to win.”

Sligo will be without defender Jim Lauchlan for their final away game of the season.

Lauchlan is suspended for the encounter so Derek Foran or Danny Ventre will come into the side.

Mauro Almeida and Richard Brush remain out with long-term injuries, while the Bit o' Red have no other injury worries.
