With skipper Scott Brown out for 10 weeks with an ankle injury, Joe Ledley returned to midfield with fit-again Emilio Izaguirre in at left-back.

In an attack-minded line-up, Cha Du-Ri was replaced by Mark Wilson while Republic of Ireland striker Anthony Stokes came in as midfielder Efrain Juarez dropped to the bench.

United boss Peter Houston made one change with Craig Conway returning at the expense of Darren Dods, who was left out of the squad.
