Liverpool court battle to resume

The battle over the future of Liverpool FC returns to the High Court today after the American owners used the US courts to prevent a sale of the club.

Mr Justice Floyd had given a ruling in London yesterday that meant the English directors of Liverpool could agree a £300m (€340m) takeover by John W Henry’s New England Sports Ventures.
