Trap names unchanged side for Russia challenge

Ireland manager Giovanni Trapatoni has named an unchanged side for tomorrow's Euro 2012 qualifier against Russia at the Aviva Stadium.

Richard Dunne's return to training this morning means that Trapattoni has been able to name his first-choice defence, with Shay Given in goal and a back-line of John O'Shea, Sean St Ledger, Dunne and Kevin Kilbane.

Paul Green continues as Glenn Whelan's midfield partner in the absence of Keith Andrews, while Aiden McGeady's impressive form since his move to Spartak Moscow means that he will continue to deputise for the injured Damien Duff.

Republic of Ireland: Shay Given, John O'Shea, Sean St Ledger, Richard Dunne, Kevin Kilbane, Paul Green, Liam Lawrence, Glenn Whelan, Aiden McGeady, Kevin Doyle, Robbie Keane.
