No changes for McLeish as Stam comes in for Wigan

McLeish kept faith with the side which had suffered their first league reversal of the campaign against the Baggies.

Blues would equal their best ever top flight unbeaten home run of 18 games if they avoided defeat.

Wigan boss Roberto Martinez made just one change from the team beaten 2-0 at home to Manchester City last weekend.

Right-sided midfielder Ronnie Stam was restored to the side in place of Franco Di Santo.
