Sligo Rovers and Monaghan United go head-to-head in the quarter-final of the FAI Ford Cup at the Showgrounds, kick-off 7.45pm.

Paul Cook’s Sligo will be without Gary McCabe as he is serving a suspension.

John Dillon is a major doubt with a back injury, while Richie Ryan and Romauld Boco have minor hamstring worries but both players are expected to be fit to face Mick Cooke's side.

Jim Lauchlan returns to the Rovers squad after missing the 2-2 draw with Galway United in the Premier Divison on Monday.

Monaghan boss Cooke has a strong squad to choose from with no injury or suspension worries going into the clash with Sligo.

However, the First Division table toppers must plan without Paul Whelan and Ian McNeill who are both cup-tied.

The teams also meet in the EA Sports Cup final next Saturday.
