Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti is determined to improve on last season’s performance in the Champions League which saw his side go out in the last-16 stage.

However the Italian intends to rest a number of players against a MSK Zilina of Slovakia on Wednesday while Didier Drogba is suspended.
