Tottenham have signed Croatia goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa from Spartak Moscow on a season-long loan, the club have confirmed.

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp had said before the season started that he would prefer to have three goalkeepers challenging for a first-team spot.
