Madden goal the winner for Bohs

Paddy Madden rediscovered his scoring touch to put Bohemians through to the quarter-finals of the FAI as the beat Shelbourne in this north Dublin derby.

The only goal of the game came on 22 minutes when Madden, who had a spell on loan at Shels last year, punished slack marking to volley past Dean Delaney.

Philly Gorman had a couple of sniffs of goal for Shelbourne early in the second half, but Bohs ran out comfortable winners.
