Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has indicated that Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Shay Given may play in the group stages of the Europa League.

The Lifford native has been overtaken by Joe Hart, who is also now in pole position for England after returning from a season-long loan with Birmingham.
