McGlynn seals away win for Bohs

Gareth McGlynn scored the only goal of the game as champions Bohemians made it three wins on the spin to stay joint-second in the table.

In a bright opening by the home side, Glen Fitzpatrick had a chance for Drogheda inside the opening minute which was well saved by Chris O’Connor.

Bohs played their way into the match and Paul Keegan came close early in the second half before Pat Fenlon’s side struck for their winner on 77mins.

Left-back Conor Powell set up winger McGlynn who rifled past Robert Duggan as Drogheda slumped to a sixth straight defeat.
