Galway duo suspended for visit of Drogheda

Galway United and Drogheda United go head-to-head in tonight’s Airtricity League Premier Division clash at Terryland Park, kick-off 7.45pm.

Sean Connor’s United will be looking to build on their impressive win over Bohemians last weekend.

United have a strong squad available with no injury concerns ahead of the game.

However, Rhys Meynell and Paul Sinnott will both be missing having received red cards in the Dalymount Park victory last Friday.

Philip Reilly could be in contention to make his first full start of the season.

Drogheda boss Brian Donnelly will be without Brendan McGill who remains out injured but otherwise has a full-strength squad to choose from.

Assistant boss Darius Kierans said: “It’s going to be another big game for us. We need to start picking up points.

“Galway isn’t an easy place to go, Sean Connor has done a great job with the budget he has.”
