Hughes leaves Schwarzer out of Fulham squad

Mark Schwarzer was left out of the Fulham squad for the trip Bolton as Mark Hughes made his competitive bow as Cottagers boss.

Schwarzer was facing a late fitness test ahead of the match due to a back problem but the Australian goalkeeper’s absence may also have been explained by the fact that he had recently handed in a transfer request with a view to joining Arsenal.
