Carvalho in Madrid for medical

Ricardo Carvalho is expected to complete his move to Real Madrid this afternoon after the Los Blancos revealed that the Chelsea defender is undergoing a medical in the Spanish capital this morning.

The Barclays Premier League champions accepted a bid thought to be in the region of £6.7m for the Portuguese centre half on Tuesday evening.
