Republic of Ireland striker Kevin Doyle failed a fitness test on a calf injury for tonight’s friendly against Argentina.

The Wolves forward was replaced by Celtic’s 21-year-old Cillian Sheridan, receiving his first start alongside Robbie Keane, who was winning his 100th cap.
