Pats pile more misery on Drogheda

First half strikes from David McAllister and Derek Doyle moved St. Pat's three points clear at the top of the table.

Midfielder McAllister gave Saints the lead their early pressure deserved on 22 minutes when he scored on the half volley from Doyle's deep cross from the left.

Drogheda struggled to defend set-pieces and were undone from a corner on the half hour.

Garreth O'Connor's delivery was flicked on by Vinny Faherty and Doyle stretched to turn the ball home.
