Pulis denies Cole snub

Stoke boss Tony Pulis is looking to make “three or four” more additions to his squad – but has denied he has had a bid turned down for England striker Carlton Cole.

There has been little in the way of transfer activity at the Britannia Stadium so far this summer, with Belgian teenager Florent Cuvelier and experienced goalkeeper Carlo Nash the only incoming personnel.
