Swansea reject Blackpool's Rangel bid

Swansea have rejected a bid from Barclays Premier League newcomers Blackpool for highly-rated defender Angel Rangel.

The Spaniard, who joined from Spanish side Terrassa in the summer of 2008, sat out the 9-1 thrashing of Dutch side VCS on their pre-season tour to Holland, increasing speculation over the 27-year-old’s future at the Liberty Stadium.
