Bray Wanderers will be hoping for a victory that would close the gap on fellow strugglers Drogheda United when the two sides meet at Hunky Dorys Park tonight, kick-off 7.45pm.

Richie Baker (back), Stephen Brennan (hamstring) and David Tyrell (ankle) will once again be absent from the Bray squad.

Otherwise, manager Eddie Gormley has no new injury worries, while new signing, goalkeeper Matt Gregg is included in the squad.

Gormley said: "The new players that have come in are beginning to gel and have settled in well. Obviously, Friday’s game is a massive game for us. It will be like a Cup Final. We need to get a result, as games are running out.

“The new players have given us more stability and we will be going there to win the game.”

Drogheda manager Brian Donnelly will be without Jamie Harris, Brendan McGill and Darragh McNamara.

Eoghan Osborne and Darren Brennan both come back into the squad after being suspended last week.

Goalkeeper Robert Duggan has signed from Shamrock Rovers and may be in line to make his debut.

Assistant Manager Darius Kierans said: “Obviously it is a massive game. Bray will come down here with no fear looking to close the gap. It is as much a chance for them as it is for us, but the lads are confident and have become a very close knit squad.”
