Khumalo eyes Tottenham trial

South Africa defender Bongani Khumalo today claimed he was on the brink of earning a trial at Tottenham.

The 23-year-old SuperSport United star, who partnered Portsmouth’s Aaron Mokoena at the heart of his country’s defence when they hosted this summer’s World Cup, described a possible move to Spurs as “a dream”.
