Gers take Wemberg on trial

Rangers have taken 18-year-old Norwegian defender Krister Wemberg on trial.

The teenager, who plays for FK Moss in the Norwegian second division, will spend a week at Murray Park in a bid to win a contract.

The Norway Under-19 international has already had trials with Everton and Fulham.

He told www.mossfk.no: “I will play games for the reserves and train every day with the first team during a week-long stay in Scotland. My dream is to play abroad, I don‘t hide that.”
