Ciaran Kilduff got UCD back to winning ways after four straight defeats with a stunning hat-trick as bottom side Bray were trounced at the UCD Bowl.

After a scoreless first half, striker Kilduff put College in front on 51 minutes when tapping home after a long-range shot came back off the bar.

It was 2-0 three minutes later. Bray keeper Brian Kane spilled a cross from Michael kelly and Kilduff had a second easy finish.

The hat-trick arrived on 71 minutes when Kilduff latched onto Robbie Creevy’s through ball to fire past Kane.

Midfielder Greg Bolger, just on as a substitute, added the fourth goal four minutes later after working a one-two with Kilduff.

Both sides finished with 10 men following an 88th-minute scuffle between Bray's Chris Shields and Bolger, and both were sent off.
