Dejected England crash out of World Cup

England suffered World Cup heartbreak today in a controversial but crushing 4-1 defeat to old rivals Germany today.

Two goals from Thomas Muller, plus strikes from Miroslav Klose and Lukas Podolski, secured the Germans’ passage into the World Cup quarter finals.
